Natural Healing for Animals

Natural Healing for Animals

  • Is non interventive

  • Is totally safe

  • Supports the body, mind, emotions and soul

  • Enhances other treatments

  • Complements perfectly any veterinary care

  • Supports the recovery and healing process

As an animal healer I work with the energy of the animal. I am not a qualified veterinary surgeon, I work alongside vets. I do not prescribe any medication as part of these services.

Before treatment, I assess the presenting condition and by drawing on my background in a number of healing modalities, I determine how best I can help your animal and what is best for them at the time, always supporting them holistically and to the best of my ability.

I use healing – either hands-on or at a distance – for all my animal clients. Using my hands in the healing process, I am able to pick up where there is tension or discomfort in the body, which is presented as areas of heat or cold. These areas of tension are not only created by physical trauma but also by emotional conditions manifesting in the physical body. It is the same for animals as for humans.

  • What happens during a session?

Your first appointment may take up to an hour and a half. It will begin with a full case history, followed by hands-on healing, the offering of natural remedies for the animal’s self-selection, and follow-up procedures as appropriate to help your animal.

Follow-up appointments will last up to an hour.

    Hands-on healing

This can be performed in person or as distance healing.

What conditions can my natural healing help?

Physical stress, pain and muscular tension.

    Post-operative healing can help with

    • Wound healing

    • Stress, emotional upset, fears, anxiety, separation anxiety

    Bereavement/loss/grief

My role in these situations is to offer healing and emotional support to the guardian, the animal, or both. Pet Loss with the Grief Recovery Method can also be helpful for the grieving guardian

As for humans, distance healing is also available.

  • Working in rescue centres or animal sanctuaries is a precious and very rewarding part of my work.

Rescue animals need both emotional and physical care. Natural healing facilitates a sense of relaxation and provides a safe environment for the animal to release stress and anxiety, as well as to recover from any physical trauma.

A happier, calmer animal is more likely to be re-homed quickly.

    Animals and touch

Healing rescue animals will not necessarily involve touch. Some animals are too nervous or too afraid of strangers to tolerate it. In these circumstances healing is better received from a distance, in some cases outside the animal’s enclosure.

    Observational diagnosis

Animals are non-verbal which requires that I look for physical indicators of release and relaxation. Licking, yawning, stretching, closing the eyes are some of the outward signs that an animal is responding well to treatment.
